The all-rounder produced a stunning piece of fielding to deny a certain six
There may be doubts surrounding where Ben Stokes should be placed in the batting order for England, but there can be no questions surrounding his status as their best fielder following an incredible display of athleticism in Canberra.
Defending a total of 178 runs, Stokes was called into action when Australia's Mitchell Marsh blasted a Sam Curran delivery back over his head, with the ball seemingly destined to clear the boundary.
However, Stokes had other ideas. With the ball flying over his shoulder, the all-rounder threw out in an arm and hooked the ball back into the field of play, preventing a maximum score.
