First XI winter plans

Ollie Pope, Ben Foakes, Will Jacks and Jamie Overton have been selected in the England Test squad for the three-match Test tour of Pakistan in December. Ahead of the series, Will Jacks and Jamie Overton will travel to Abu Dhabi in November to prepare for the Test tour of Pakistan. They will be joined by the rest of the England Test squad (including Ollie Pope and Ben Foakes) on November 18. Wicketkeeper Jamie Smith has been selected as part of the England Lions 15-player training group who will also spend the majority of the November in Abu Dhabi. The England Test side will face the England Lions in a three-day practise match from November 23-25.
